General Conduct

“Manners are the basic building blocks of civil society” said Alexander McCall Smith. We expect our students to behave in line with the pleasant and dignified atmosphere of the college. We believe that a sense of discipline and dignity is of paramount importance during student life and there are certain rules that are in place to ensure this. We remind you that those who are guilty of serious misconduct, or whose presence in the college is detrimental to the order and discipline on the campus, are liable to be expelled. Code of conduct on the campus includes safeguarding the college property, keeping the place clean and tidy and dressing up decently.

Dress Code

With great thought and in the interest of students, the college follows a dress code which the students ought to adhere to compulsorily on all days that they are on campus. We insist on the dress code even during examinations and fests.

  • Boys are expected to wear only formal shirts and trousers (colouring of hair, piercing of body should be avoided).
  • Girls must wear salwar kameez with dupatta (stoles, short kurtas, colouring of hair, piercing of body should be avoided).
  • Students violating the dress code will not be allowed to attend the class.

College Timings

The working day for students is generally from 12:45 pm to 5.45 pm for regular classes. Special coaching classes and library hours are scheduled between 11 am to 12:45 pm on certain days of the week. Each class is for 45 minutes and there are 5 classes per day. Students have a break of 30 minutes from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
